4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 t. salt
6 c. Brown sugar
3 t. vanilla
6 eggs
3 t. soda
3 t. baking powder
3 c. shortening
9 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c Choc Chips
1 1/2 c Butterscotch Chips or Peanut Butter chips
2 c. nuts
1 1/2 cups raisins
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 c. Coconut

Directions:

Cream eggs, sugar , vanilla, & shortening. Add all dry ingredients,

Scoop onto a prepared cookie sheet . Bake at 375º for about 9-11 min.

This is yet another recipe that came from a co-worker long ago. I added the temp and baking time as she never did put that on my card... It took me a long time to figure out why these are call Amish... It is because it makes so many AND has so many good ingredients... Trust me.. use a huge bowl !!!!
