1 lb box of creamette elbow macaroni
3 inch slab of american cheese from a 5lb block- 4 cups
1 tsp salt

Directions:
1. In a large saucepan bring water, oil, salt and pepper to a boil.
2. Once water is boiling, slowly add macaroni stirring constantly to prevent macaroni from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.
3. After all macaroni has been added, reduce to medium heat.
4. Let macaroni cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes stirring every couple seconds.
5. Slowly add the cheese to the saucepan, stirring constantly.
6. After all the cheese has been added, turn the heat down to low-medium heat and put a lid on the saucepan for 5 minutes. Even when the macaroni is cooking with a lid on it, still stir occasionally.
7. Turn the stove off and leave the lid on the saucepan and let the macaroni continue to cook to absorb the liquid for about 15 minutes.

Enjoy!
