3 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups sugar (a sweet bread - could reduce some)
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 & 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons allspice
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 cup oil
1 16-ounce can pumpkin
2/3 cup water
4 eggs
1 cup raisins (plumped in boiling water and drained well)
Optional - add 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts if desired

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two loaf pans.

Whisk flour, soda and spices together. In a separate bowl, gently beat eggs. Add water, oil and sugar to eggs. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and spoon into two prepared loaf pans. Bake for approximately 1 hour - depending on oven. Makes two loaves. Delicious!
