1 Pound Dried Black Eyed Peas, soaked overnight in water to cover
4 Cups Water
2 Teaspoons Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Large Onion, chopped
2 Stalks Celery, chopped
1/2 Pound Pork or Lean Ham, cut into pieces


Directions:

Drain the peas from the soaking liquid and place in the crock pot.

Add the water, salt and pepper, onion, and meat.

Cover the crock pot and cook on high for 1-2 hours, then reduce heat to low and cook for 8-9 more hours.
