Ingredients:	Ingredients: ½ cup butter ¾ cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups all purpose flour 2 tsps. baking powder ¼ tsp. salt 2 tsps. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg ½ tsp. allspice ¼ tsp. cloves ¾ cup milk

Directions:	Directions: Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cream butter, sugar and beat in egg. Add vanilla. Mix next 7 ingredients together in a bowl. Add milk to butter mixture alternately with flour mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Turn into greased 8" x 8" pan. Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
