8 - 10 quarts popped corn
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup white corn syrup
1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. cook the popcorn and move the cooked kernels to a large roaster
2. Combine the brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a sauce pan and bring to a boil for 5 minutes
3. Preheat an oven to 250º
4. After the sugar mixture boils for 5 minutes take it off the heat add the baking soda and vanilla
5. Pour over the popped corn in the roaster
6. bake at 250º uncovered for one hour, stirring often.
7. After one hour place on wax paper to cook
