1 cup butter (2 sticks)

3 cups sugar

4 eggs

3 cups flour

¼ teaspoon baking soda

1 cup buttermilk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 10" fluted Bundt Pan

Powdered sugar for lightly dusting onto cake

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º

Prepare Bundt Pan by greasing and flouring

In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar

Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition

Separately combine flour and soda then, add to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.

Mix well then fold in the vanilla

Pour into Bundt Pan

Bake at 325º for one hour and 10 minutes or until it tests done.

Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing onto to a wire rack to cool.

Dust with powdered sugar lightly over the pound cake before serving. Use a strainer to dust with powdered sugar.
