1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
3 egg whites
½ tsp. salt
½ cup water
1 cup chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
Flat cooking pan
1 cup Karo syrup (white)
Directions:
Directions:
Boil one cup sugar and one cup water until it shreds when dropped from a spoon. Beat three egg whites until stiff with ½ tsp. salt. Add the syrup slowly while beating. In another pan boil two cups sugar, one cup Karo syrup, and ½ cup water. Cook until forms a hard boil. Beat into other mixtures slowly. Beat until cool. Add 1 cup chopped pecans and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Dip out onto a greased pan when it is cool enough to stand up.
