1 c. solid vegetable shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
½ c. dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp.vanilla extract
2 c. + 4 T. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening well with sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Combine dry ingredients. Gradually stir into shortening mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350º for 10 mins.
