Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cakes yeast (3 packages active dry yeast or 6 ¾ teaspoons)
1 ½ cups buttermilk
½ cup sour cream
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1 cup shortening
7 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 cups finely chopped lightly toasted pecans or walnuts
2 cups butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in ½ cup warm buttermilk. Stir in remaining buttermilk, sour cream, sugar, salt, eggs, shortening, and 3 cups of flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in enough of the remaining flour to make the dough easy to handle.

Turn dough onto lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl; cover and refrigerate overnight.

Punch down dough and shape into 1 ½-inch balls. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and chopped nuts in a small bowl. Dip balls in melted butter, and then roll in cinnamon sugar-nut mixture.

Place a single layer of balls with sides just touching in a well greased tube pan. (If the pan has a removable bottom, line the outside with foil to prevent the butter from dripping.) Finish making balls and placing them in pan. Let raise 45 minutes. Heat oven to 375°F and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
