¼ cup butter, melted
½ cup brown sugar
1 can (20 ounces) pineapple
Maraschino cherries
¼ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1 ¼ cups flour
1 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pour melted butter into a 9-inch round pan and add brown sugar. Arrange pineapple and cherries over the sugar.

Cream butter with sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth about two minutes. Pour batter into the pan.

Bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
