Ingredients:	Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened 3 cups flour 2 cups sugar, divided ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups light corn syrup 6 squares (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate or sweet German chocolate 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla 2 ½ cups chopped pecans

Directions:	Directions: Heat oven to 350°F. Beat butter, flour, ½ cup sugar, and salt with mixer until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into bottom of 10 by 15 by 1-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Meanwhile, in a 3-quart saucepan, stir corn syrup and chocolate over low heat just until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining sugar, then eggs and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour filling over hot crust; spread to evenly. Bake 30 minutes or until filling is firm around edges but still slightly soft in center. Cool completely.
