Dough:
¾ c. sugar (if fruit is very sweet, cut sugar down to ⅔ cup.)
2 T. softened butter
2 eggs
1 c. Bisquick
Fruit Filling:
½ c. Sherry (can substitute ½ c. either balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar)
¼ c. lemon juice
½ c. sugar (¼ c. if fruit is very sweet)
5 c. fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the eggs, sugar, butter, Bisquick. Spread evenly over the bottom of a 9x12 pan.
In a large saucepan, simmer sherry, sugar, lemon juice for 3 mins. Add the fruit and heat until simmering. Pour hot mixture over the dough. Bake at 375º for 30 mins. Then turn oven down to 325º, and bake for 10 mins more. Serve hot or cold, and serve with cream or ice cream.
