1 cube butter, melted
¾ c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
⅛ tsp. salt
½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Cream the butter and sugar.Then add eggs. Mix together the flour and salt, and add a little at time to the eggs and butter. Mix in the vanilla. Grease a cookie sheet (you might try using parchment paper, as the cookies are hard to get off the cookie sheet). Drop on cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls. Bake 8-10 mins until edges are brown. Take cookies off sheet immediately.

Marge was a really good friend of Mom’s. They played golf together, they played bridge together, they went out to eat and shop together...and every year in January (for many years), Mom, Daisy McCoy, and Marge would head down to Palm Springs to Marge’s time share for a week of golf and visiting with friends who were down there.
