Ingredients:
7/8 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup water

Oil or beef dripping

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour and salt well in a bowl.

Add milk, eggs and water.

Mix until large bubbles appear on surface.
This may stand covered in the fridge for one hour.
Beat again before use.
Prepare muffin tins by putting 1/4 inch of cooking oil or beef drippings or melted butter in them, making sure the pans have been prewarmed until oil starts to smoke slightly.

Pour in batter to 5/8 inch deep. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for another 10-15 minutes.

Remove from pan and serve immediately with gravy.

I would double the recipe so that it fills 12 tins.

Remember all the delicious Sunday, Roast beef dinners made over the years by Mom and Grandma Griffin. Yum!
