Delicious Rhubarb Strawberry Pie Recipe

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water mixed with 2 Tbsp corn starch
3 cups rhubarb cut in 1/4 inch slices
3 cups strawberries sliced
2 Tbsp butter

1 egg yolk
2 Tbsp sugar
Double pie crust

1. Oven to 400F
2. In bowl- mix I cup sugar with the corn starch water mixture.
3. Add cut rhubarb and stir.
4. Add strawberries, stir and let sit for 30 minutes.
5. Pour mixture into pie shell.
6. Dot mixture with butter.
7. Put on top crust.
8. Brush slightly beaten egg yolk over top of crust and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp sugar.
9. Pierce top crust with knife to make air holes.
10. Bake about 35-40 minutes.

You can use 1/2 cup of flour instead of cornstarch/water.
I used frozen strawberries.
