Double Pie Crust

Filling:

1 lb. lean ground beef
2-4 medium potatoes, diced very fine
2 carrots, grated or diced VERY thin
1 large onions
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 cup water (more if you want more "gravy")
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine all ingredients for the filling in a large sauce pan. Simmer on low until vegetables just start to get tender. Place into pastry lined pie plate. Cover with top crust. Cut slits.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

You may add any vegetabel you like.
I have found by starting to cook the vegetables and meat in the broth, you will be assured that they will be cooked when the crust is done.
