grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Brown meat, drain. Add tomato sauces, mix and garlic. Cover and simmer 40 mins. stirring occasionally. Salt as desired. (You can make this part ahead and freeze to make at a later time, just thaw when ready to make the lasagna)
Layer noodles, 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/2 of mozzerella cheese and 1/2 of cottage cheese. Repeat layers ending with sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350º for 25-40 mins. Let stand 15 mins. to thicken then cut into squares and serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is my all-time favorite lasagna mainly because I don't like ricotta cheese. I have made this with ravioli instead of lasagna noodles - just layer the same way. I have also put spinach in the sauce mix since Stacia was always low in iron!
