2 cups fresh cherries or 21 oz. canned ... 1 cup sugar
1 stick butter ... 1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder ... 1 cup milk ... pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Place butter in 9x9 baking pan and place in oven to melt while heating. In bowl add sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour batter over melted butter. Spread fruit over batter, gently. Bake for 40-60 mins.

You can use this same recipe for any type of fruit cobbler - peach, apple, pears. We've been making this cobbler for as long as I can remember!
