Chili Burro Recipe

1 ½ lbs round steak
1 ½ cups water
1 rounded tsp chili powder
1 garlic button
½ tsp salt
1 4oz can red chili peppers
Flour and water for thickening
1 can enchilada sauce
Sour cream
Shredded lettuce
12" flour tortillas

Directions:
Directions:
Remove excess fat from round steak, cut steak in ½" cubes
Mince garlic button
Cook steak and garlic until steak is done.
Make thickening from flour and water(add thickening until consistency of gravy)
Dice red chilis and add.
Simmer until meat is tender (approximately 1½ hours)
Place cooked filling in middle of tortilla, fold and roll tortilla, fasten with toothpick.
Cook in large skillet with ¾" hot cooking oil for about two minutes turning once.
Pour enchilada sauce over top, sprinkle shredded lettuce over entire plate, top with sour cream

Green chilis can be used f desired; however, green chilis are much hotter than red chilis and should be used with caution
