Mix dry ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
½ tsp salt

Mix wet ingredients and add to dry:
4 eggs
2 cups pumpkin
1 cup oil

Sauce:
1½ cup brown sugar
1½ cup water
3 Tbsp flour
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
½ tsp vanilla
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
For sauce: combine brown sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. Stir in water and butter bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Cut cake into squares and serve with warm sauce and ice cream.
