Ingredients: 1 cup milk 2 eggs, room temperature ⅓ cup butter 4-4 ½ cups bread flour ½ tsp salt ½ cup white sugar 1 pkg dry yeast
Filling: 1 cup brown sugar 3 Tbsp cinnamon ⅓ cup butter, softened
Frosting: 8 oz cream cheese, softened ½ cup butter, softened 1 ½ cup powdered sugar ½ tsp vanilla ⅛ tsp salt

Directions:Combine 2 cups flour and yeast in a mixing bowl. Set aside. In saucepan combine milk, butter, sugar, and salt over medium heat until 120ºF-130ºF. Add milk mixture to flour mixture along with eggs and mix with electric mixer on low for 30 seconds. Stir in as much of the flour as you can. Place dough on floured surface and knead as much flour as possible. Knead until very smooth and elastic (5-10 Minutes) Cover dough with oil or spray and plastic wrap. Rest covered 15 minutes.
In a bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into 18x21” rectangle. Spread ⅓ cup butter on the dough. Top with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. Roll dough. Cut into 12 even rolls. Grease 9x13 pan. Place in rolls, not touching each other. Cover with plastic wrap and tea towel. And let rise until near doubles (45 Minutes). Preheat oven to 400F. Bake rolls on center rack 400ºF, for 15 minutes. Combine Cream Cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt until light and fluffy. Allow rolls to cool 10-15 minutes, spread icing on warm rolls, reserving some icing for those who like extra icing. |
