Cover 5# brisket with the following and bake one hour at 350º:
3 T. vinegar
Onion salt
Garlic salt
Paprika
Salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
After baking 1 hour, slice an onion on top of meat.

Baste with 2 cups boiling water. Bake 3 - 4 hours at 300º.

When still hot, try to scrape fat off. Pour juice in another container and chill both. Slice when cold across grain. Pour juice over and reheat. (I sometimes add some marsala wine).
