1 cup margarine
1 box bran cereal
2 cups boiling water
2 1/2 cups sugar

1 qt buttermilk
4 eggs, beaten
5 cups flour
5 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt
15 oz box of raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, boiling water, bran cereal and sugar. Let stand for 1 hour.
Beat well.
Add buttermilk, eggs, flour, soda, salt, and raisins.
Add buttermilk, eggs, flour, baking ,soda and salt. Beat again.
Stir in raisins.

Bake 15-20 in a muffin tin. Test with a toothpick.
