1 cup butter
1 cup buttermilk
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
⅓ teaspoon soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar. Then add eggs, one at a time. Combine soda and buttermilk. Alternately, mix flour and milk to creamed ingredients. Bake in tube or Bundt pan at 350º for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This cake is even better a day or two after baking.
