1 cup buttermilk
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cook buttermilk, sugar and soda in DEEP pan until it forms soft balls, 234º to 240º. It will turn a tan color. Remove from heat and beat mixture with wooden spoon until creamy Add vanilla and nuts. Drop on waxed paper. Mixture cools quickly - BE FAST!
