2 cups rolled oats
2 cups flour
1 t baking powder
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t cloves
1 t allspice
2 large or 3 small eggs
1 cup raisins
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup lard or Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Cream lard and brown sugar. Mix in eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, cloves and allspice. Add gradually to cream mixture. Stir in rolled oats and raisins. Bake in 375º oven for ten minutes.
