Salmon Loaf Recipe

Mary Forget


1 can salmon, shredded fine
2 tbsps. melted butter
1/2 cup milk
juice of 1/2 lemon
a dash of cayenne
1 cup mashed potatoes or cooked rice
2 cups breadcrumbs
salt to taste
1 tbsp. minced parsley

Soak the breadcrumbs
Remove, oil, bones and skin from fish.
Shred fish finely.
Add the seasoning, potatoes (or rice) and crumbs.
Pack into well buttered and steam for one hour

Serve with tomato sauce if desired.
