3 cups All-bran cereal
cup vegetable oil
1 cup raisins
1 cup boiling water
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk

1. Mix together all-bran cereal, oil and raisins. Pour on boiling water and let stand while preparing remaining
2. Combine flour, sugar, soda and salt. Set aside.
3. Lightly beat eggs and mix in buttermilk. Add to all-bran cereal mixture; beat well.
4. Add flour mixture stirring only until combined. Let stand at least 15 minutes before baking. Do not stir. Spoon batter
into greased or paper lines muffin tins filling about full. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until done.

Yields 24 muffins.
