Cabbage leaves
Boiling water
3 c finely c cabbage (optional)
1 # hamburger
1 c cooked rice
¼ c chopped onion
1 egg
salt & pepper
1 can tomato sauce= dilute

Directions:
Directions:
Saute meat, onions, cabbage. Mix rice & egg and add 2 Tbsp mixture on leaves (which have been softened in the boiling water for a few seconds then removed) Fold both sides of leaf over mixture and roll into tight ball..Sometimes a toothpick may have to be inserted to assure the leaf holds together

Can be simmered until done or covered & baked @ 400º for 1 hour Can be re-heated.
