2 tbsp butter
2/3 cup carnation evaporated milk
1 3/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 c (6 oz pkg) chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt in a small sauce pan over medium heat..Bring to coil..Cook 4`5 minutes, stirring constantly. (start timing when mixture starts to "bubble" around the edges of the pan. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows,chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts. Stir vigorously for 1 minute (until marshmallows melt and blend).
Pour into and 8`inch square buttered pan . Cool Cut in squares. Makes about 2#s
