4½ cups sugar
1 stick butter (not margarine)
1 can Carnation© Evaporated Milk
Dash of vanilla extract
10 oz. bag marsh-mellows
2 - 10 to 12 oz. bags of chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook the sugar, butter, carnation and vanilla to a fast boil, stirring constantly (to dissolve sugar). Then cook for 8 more minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Add to above mixture the marsh-mellows, chocolate chips and walnuts.
3. Stir until completely melted, stirring well to bottom of pan.
4. Pour into a 9 X 12 glass pan, well buttered.
5. Cool down and slice into desired pieces.

TIP: Use only real butter & Carnation. Margarine and other brands of canned milk will not work.
