½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
2 cups finely chopped apples

Topping:
½ cups chopped nuts
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
Fold in chopped apples.
Spread in 9 x 13 greased pan.
Sprinkle topping over batter and bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.
Top with powdered sugar when completely cooled (optional).
