2 eggs
1 cup sweet milk
2 cups buttermik
¾ teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
5 heaping tablespoons corn meal
3 tablespoons shortening

Directions:
Directions:
beat egg yolks well add milk ,salt and soda then the corn meal
Last fold in the well beaten egg whites
Pour into a well greased pan and bake at 350% until firm
