Ingredients:  
1 c. butter
½ c. confectioners’ sugar
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Your favorite jam

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Sift the dry ingredients and gradually mix into butter. Shape with hands into balls ¾” in diameter. Press a thimble into the center to create a depression. Fill with jam. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes.

These cookies were some of Mom’s favorites to make at Christmas when we were young. When Tony and Jessica had a Welcoming Party for Josie at their house, they served these cookies, and Mark, Bob, and I were remembering how Mom loved making these.
