1 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1 egg white, beaten
1 cup sugar
2 c. sifted flour
¾ tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts or slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg yolk and mix until very creamy. Add the flour and cinnamon and mix together. Spread on cookie sheet. Cover with the beaten egg white. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350º for 15-18 mins. Cut into rectangles while still warm.
