1/2 c shortening
1 egg, beaten
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Divide dough into three sections. Add red food coloring to one and green to the other. Place dough in cookie press. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 6-7 minutes.
