6 green peppers
1 lb hamburger
1 cup raw rice
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cans tomato soup

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger & onion, cook rice.
Without draining meat add rice and 1 can soup.
Boil peppers (halved) then add hamburger mixture, spoon remaining tomato soup over each pepper.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350º.

Memere never said the whole word hamburger, she always said, “Hamburg”.
Even though the recipe said to not drain the meat, if using a higher fat hamburger you will need to drain it.
The peppers I used to boil, but in the times of microwaves, I now par cook them in there until cooked.
Also, even though the recipe says “halved”, you can leave them whole.
