1/2 c. warm milk, scalded then cooled

2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water

1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
4½ c. to 5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald the milk and let cool.

Mix yeast and warm water and let sit until foamy or about 10 minutes.

Add sugar, salt, eggs and butter to yeast mixture. Mix until roughly combined.

Add flour until dough is almost not sticky to your hands.

let dough rest in a slightly oiled bowl until doubled in size.

Punch down dough and make 12 to 16 balls.

Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise until doubled.

Bake at 375º on the middle rack of the oven until golden brown.
