¾ pound fresh okra or 1 box/pkg. frozen okra
3 slices bacon
½ cup chopped onion
½ to 1 can whole chopped tomatoes with juice
dash of black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon and set aside. Sauté onion and okra in bacon drippings. Add tomatoes, crumbled bacon, salt and pepper. After mixture is hot, simmer. May need ½ cup water if too dry. A lid over pan will tenderize okra.
