3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
⅓ cup butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
½ cup chopped pecans
pecan halves to cover the top

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar and the corn syrup by heating and let it come to a boil. Add butter and set aside to cool.

Beat the eggs, add the flour, salt, vanilla and chopped pecans. Add the sugar mixture and pour the filling into the unbaked pie shell. Place whole pecans on top.

Bake covered at 350º for 1 hour. Remove the cover for the last 10 minutes and let bake until brown. Makes a 9-inch pie.
