1 stick butter
1 sm onion,chopped
3/4 tsp garlic powder
3/4 cups flour
4 cans chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp seasoning salt
2 cans original Rotel
1 pint sour cream
1 lb chicken breast cooked and shredded
Monterrey Jack and cheddar cheese,shredded
tortilla chips

Saute onion and garlic powder in butter until onion is clear,add flour and brown (makes a paste- i wait about 10 mins until next step) , add chicken broth, spices, rotel, and sour cream- cook over medium heat, when sour cream dissolves, add chicken. simmer 30-45 mins , serve with tortilla chips and cheese
