Ingredients:
Ingredients:
½ package fresh spinach
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
¾ cup finely diced ham
small head of iceberg lettuce
1 cup frozen peas
small onion, thinly sliced
1 cup sour cream
2 cups mayonnaise
1 cup Swiss cheese, grated
4 or 5 slices bacon, crumbled
salt
pepper
1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Use a large, deep bowl rather than a shallow pan or casserole dish.
2. Layer spinach in bottom of bowl. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and ½ tsp sugar.
3. Layer sliced hard boiled eggs, then ham.
4. Add the iceberg lettuce, broken up finely. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and ½ tsp sugar.
5. Layer the peas and sliced onions.
6. Whisk together sour cream and mayonnaise; spread evenly over top of salad.
7. Cover top with grated Swiss cheese and crumbled bacon. Cover tightly and refrigerate over night.
**This is nice for a covered dish dinner because it can be made ahead. This recipe looks really nice served in a clear glass bowl so all the layers show.
