1/2 cup Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
1 can (2 1/2 lbs.) diced tomatoes
1 T. butter
1 T. bacon drippings
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. sugar
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 cup thinly sliced onion
1/4 tsp. oregano
Directions:
Directions:
Place 1/2 the stuffing mix in a buttered shallow baking dish. In a bowl add butter, bacon drippings, salts and sugar to the tomatoes. Cover stuffing with a layer of tomato mixture, then a layer of cheese, then onion. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top. Sprinkle with oregano.
