2 cups sliced yellow squash
1 chopped onion
1 cup water
2 cups cornbread crumbs
2 eggs
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
grated cheddar cheese (optional)


Directions:
Directions:
Combine squash, onion and water in pan; cover and cook until tender. Combine with other ingredients except cheese. Spoon mixture into greased casserole dish. Top with cheese if desired. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until brown on top.
