1 loaf bread
1 cream cheese, softened
8 slices of bacon. finely chopped
1 small white onion, finely diced
2 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Fry the bacon slightly, add onions, garlic and mushrooms and cook for a few minutes. Add cream cheese and stir to make a thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the crusts from the bread, flatten either with a rolling pin or the palm of your hand. Spread with filling and roll up. Butter the outsides of each roll. Can be frozen until needed.

Preheat oven to 375º. Slice rolls into 3 pieces, place on a baking sheet and bake 12 - 15 minutes or until browned.

Half a recipe makes 9 rolls.
