l loaf of bread, any variety, including multi grain will do
½ lb of cheddar cheese, grated
6 slices of crispy fried bacon, crumbled
¼ cup slivered almonds
1 onion finely chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp mustard
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º

Except for the bread, mix all the ingredients together. Spread equally on the bread. Cut into shapes or simply cut the bread into four triangles. Bake for 10 minutes, so cheese is melted and slightly browned on top.

A half recipe and approximately 9 slices of bread covers a large cookie tray.
