½ cup flour

Buttermilk (no exact measure)

When mixed together, the batter should be thicker than pancake batter. Preheat oven to 400. In a cast iron skillet, pour a small amount of oil to cover bottom of skillet. Place in oven and let heat for a few minutes. Bring skillet out of oven and salt the skillet, then pour in batter. Place in oven and cook till golden brown.
