"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

This works great! Good for when all your family is together or you have overnight guests.

quart size Ziploc freezer bag
permanent marker

eggs, large or extra large
variety of cheeses
ham, cooked sausage or bacon
onion
green pepper
tomato
mushrooms
hash browns
salsa

Use anything you would like in an omelet.

Directions:
Directions:
Have guests write their name on a baggie with permanent marker.

Crack 2 eggs into the bag (not more than 2 per bag) and shake to combine them. Have each guest add the prepared ingredients of their choice to their bag, zip, shake, remove air from the bag and rezip. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot (or use more than 1 pot). Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake. Everyone gets involved in the process and makes for great conversation. You could also make the night before and boil the bag before you got to work or school.
