1/4 c molasses
1 tbs vinegar
1/2 c butter
2 tbs hot water
1/4 tsp salt
Pop corn

Nuts or dates as desired

Directions:
Heat sugar in a smooth, heavy skillet, stirring constantly until melted. Pour quickly into a saucepan in which other ingredients have been heating slowly together. Boil until brittle when tested in cold water. Pour over corn. Add chopped nuts or dates as desired. Shape with buttered hands while warm.
